Service Terms & Conditions: May 2026 Promotion

1. The Promotion

HMB Marine Electrical - Auckland Outboard Workshop(“the Company”) is offering one (1) complimentary fuel filter element replacement per outboard engine when a "Full Outboard Service" is booked before the 31st of May 2026.

2. Scope of Offer

  • Definition of "Filter": This offer applies strictly to the internal filter element or spin-on cartridge only of the boat filter, external from the outboard.

  • Exclusions: The offer does not include the replacement of the entire filter housing, mounting brackets, primer bulbs, fuel lines, or manifold assemblies. If the housing unit is found to be corroded or damaged, a quote for a full unit replacement will be provided separately.

  • Parts: The complimentary element will be a high-quality marine-grade part selected by our technicians to suit your specific engine requirements.

3. Eligibility & Bookings

  • Timeline: Bookings must be confirmed and the service must be performed between 17 April 2026  and 31 May 2026.

  • Service Requirement: This offer is only valid in conjunction with a standard Outboard Service. It cannot be redeemed as a standalone "filter-only" visit.

  • Location: Offer is valid for vessels serviced at the Auclkland Outboard Worskhop, Tamaki Marine Park.

4. Technical & Electrical Integration

As marine electrical and outboard specialists, our service includes a visual inspection of the engine’s electrical connections. However, any repairs identified during the service (e.g., faulty sensors, wiring corrosion, or battery issues) are outside the scope of the "complimentary" offer and will be charged at our standard hourly rate upon owner approval.

5. Liability & Workmanship

  • All work is performed by experienced marine technicians to AS/NZS 3004.2 standards where applicable.

  • The Company is not liable for engine issues arising from pre-existing fuel contamination or internal tank debris that exceeds the capacity of a standard filter element replacement.

6. Payment Terms

Standard payment terms apply. The "complimentary" value of the filter element will be deducted from the final invoice upon completion of the qualified service. This offer is not redeemable for cash or credit against other parts.
